The Omaha-area Inclusive Methodist Churches are a network of churches who welcome and affirm people of all sexual orientations and gender identities to participate fully in the life and ministries of their congregations. Besides offering local welcome and affirmation, we are working for the full inclusion and acceptance of LGBTQIA people in our United Methodist denomination, the whole church, and all of society. We are congregations of different sizes, in different types of buildings, in different parts of the Omaha metropolitan area who all share one goal: to be safe and affirming places for people to encounter the love of God in worship, community, and service. We hope you will visit us soon!

The Omaha-area Inclusive Methodist Churches were excited to be able to treat teachers at their neighborhood schools to Valentine’s this February. We gave 500 Valentines to teachers, staff, and administrators at Liberty Elementary, Benson West Elementary, J.P. Lord School, Lewis & Clark Middle School, and Burke High School. Thank you to the amazing staff at all these schools for supporting the students and families of our community!
Together for Christmas Results
We are grateful to everyone who gave so generously to the Together Flex Fund as part of our Together for Christmas campaign. We are delighted to report that the generous people of the Omaha Inclusive Churches were able to raise $15,932.17 for Together this past December. This generosity provides just-in-time funding for critical needs like a car repair when that car is your only for a working parent to get to work, a bus ticket when a family has been stranded far from home, apartment application fees, grocery gift cards, and many more necessities that help families in need. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this effort!
